Polymax J'adore !!
Le Polymax !
Un synthétiseur polyphonique virtuel inspiré des classiques analogiques des années 70 et 80. Il s'intègre dans l'écosystème UAD Spark et fonctionne en native (pas besoin de DSP). Par contre chez moi je ne peux pas l'utiliser sans connexion internet. Une mise à jour serai cool !
Caractéristiques principales j'aime :
Modélisation analogique : Inspiré des synthés vintage, avec une sonorité chaude et organique.
Deux oscillateurs + Sub : Onde en dents de scie, carrée et impulsion modulable, parfait pour des leads, basses et pads riches.
Filtre multimode : Passe-bas résonant avec une modélisation, qui donne un bon caractère aux sons.
Enveloppes ADSR : Pour le volume et le filtre, avec une bonne dynamique.
LFO synchronisable : Permet de moduler le pitch, la coupure du filtre et le PWM.
Autres fonctionnalités que j'aime bien:
Effets intégrés : Un chorus bien large, un delay et une réverbe pour donner plus de profondeur aux sons.
Presets : Pas mal de sons d’usine bien foutus pour commencer, avec une bonne variété (basses, pads, leads, keys, etc.).
Qualité sonore j'aime :
Le PolyMax sonne bien chaud et organique, avec un grain très analogique. UAD a clairement mis l’accent sur la modélisation du circuit analogique, et ça se sent dans le comportement du filtre et des oscillateurs. Ici, il y a une légère instabilité qui donne un côté vivant et vintage au son.
Le filtre est une des grosses réussites du synthé. Il est crémeux et musical, surtout avec la résonance, avec un bon punch dans les basses.
Le mode Unison est aussi un point fort : en empilant les voix et en jouant sur le détune, j'obtenir des sons larges et épais, idéals pour des leads type 80s ou des basses bien grasses.
Facilité d'utilisation j'aime :
L’interface est simple épurée efficace, sans menus cachés ni options trop complexes. C’est un synthé fait pour jouer et composer rapidement, possibilité du sound design good. Si je cherches un workflow rapide et inspirant, c’est un bon choix.
Par contre, il est un peu gourmand au niveau du CPU, pour des un petit processeur, Il faudrait réduire la consommation CPU du plugin dans une mise à jour, ce serait top.
Conclusion :
Le Polymax est un bon synthé vst, surtout avec l’écosystème UAD

J'adore le Polymax UAD car c'est le style de synthé que j'aime utiliser dans mes composition, j'adore les synthé et celui-ci rentre dans mes mixage et mastering facilement.

Buon giorno uso questo tipo di compressione per voci e strumenti acustici e trovo l'intervento morbido e discreto. Purtroppo non ho mai avuto il piacere di usare fisicamente queste attrezzature perciò non ho un riferimento sonoro. Sicuramente la versione software UA non altera il suon ma lo migliora. Consiglio il trittico teltronix LA. Ho acquistato recentemente anche il pedale MAX dualcompressor che uso in insert analogico sulla voce con grandi risultati sonori. Ottimi prodotti. Grazie
