Bonus Feature I didn't even realize
All the extra DSP aside one thing I had never thought about when designing my Apollo system was the length of Thunderbolt 3 cabers available, when it came time to set everything up I was slightly disappointed I couldn't place things were I wanted due to cables not being long enough. UNTIL I plugged in my satellite as a little daisy chain extender, this allows me to put my Apollo farther away like I had initially wanted. Over all a terrific product with far above average build quality. 10/10!

Horsepower
Just recieved it within the 6176 promotion and am happy as hell. Great quality plug and play product. Simple and powerfull. Now no more running out of DSP while mixing. Thanks UA

Great tool
Amazing tool for mixing and mastering, with my Apollo X6 and Apollo Twin I have a huge arsenal. 3 tools combine allows me to use a lot of UAD plugins... Nothing but the best!!

Very buggy with my Windows PC
Got this guy with promotion as gift for Apollo x8p and now i am struggling with -38 errors and trying to keep it work stable in T3 chain with other Apollos. I spent abot 100 hours working with UAD support and forum team, tryed everything, bought a few best cables for about 120$.... It can work stable with shortest T3 cables for a few hours under full load, but suddenly can start to glitch with only one plugin. Don't know where is the problem, so i think UAD either don't know for now. Maybe first part of delivery of those devices have lots of deffective ones, maybe software error... But be aware, and use only shortes 0.5 cables by Anker or Apple, also it eats lots of my latest i9-9000k CPU resources on small bufffer sizes, very dissapointing

Worth having in your setup
Talk about taking the load off of your DAW! Run massive amounts of plugins with virtually no problems. And the portability of the unit makes it that much more sweeter! Get one. You won't be disappointed!

UAD-2 Satellite
A brilliant piece of tech. Plug it in and it simply works. Love it!

Game changer
This unit is awesome! I haven’t run the older UAD gear, but the UAD2 Satellite OCTO is crazy. I’ve run 18 instances of the Distressor in one mix with absolutely no CPU issues. When you reach the Satellite’s DSP limit it will tell you, which shouldn’t happen because if you’re making good mix decisions you should be committing them ;-)

Works Great!
With the extra processing power there is no more need to juggle plug-ins.

Octo Heaven
Piece of cake to install and significantly boosts DSP processing power. If you're going to have great plug-ins you might as well use them.
