FANTASTIC!
I've been working for years now with the Waves Puigchild and recently got the IK Multimedia fairchild emulation which was quite good and got the job done. But as soon as I bought a UAD Satellite with the fairhcild collection I realized that Waves and IK Multimedia were lacking everything, LIFE, COLOR, SATURATION, DISTORTION are unparralleled with the UAD version!

Extremely Accurate and Ideal for That Tight Up Close Drum Sound
In the past two months I have been tracking drums that are almost exclusively close miked. The project demands a dry, up-front sound circa 1976. The 160 on the drum bus really brings the sound together in a special way. It has a lot of color and punch, so it's perfect for some things, but not ideal for all applications. That is my humble two cents.

I demoed the studer twice just to make sure this product was adding something to my mix, and not just a waste of money. I must say after playing with it for a few days its pretty cool. I think its a nice addition to my plugin family. Thanks UA

Nice pedal addition
It's a good pedal to have to have. Using it wisely can make certain guitar parts amazing. I feel that it takes time to fully explore the potential of its possibilities. Definitely demo it to see if it's what you are looking for. I am glad to have it on my arsenal.

Sounds so close to the real thing!
I have worked with hardware LA2A's and I have to say these emulations sound almost identical. I love tracking through them and definitely worth the upgrade!

i was a bit sceptical as i already had the legacy version but when ive tried it its was a no brainer, absolutely worth it 100 times!

little goes a long way
i had this for a while and i use it less than i expected but when i need that extra widening in the vocals this does the job everytime!!! i usually have this on a send and only use the first of second button otherwise it sounds a bit "too fake", but ...great job UAD people!

Hear it and you'll know where tu put it.
You only may to put on a track or bus. Oxide do that "thing"!! Compression, saturation, eq and bring up the low end. Is a combination of that things and you only need to put without any touch more. Simply.

I can't Pull It Off without the Pultecs. I thought I'd copy all the presets from the Legacy and be good to go. Well, it almost worked. But...I want my mixes to sound the best they can...and I ended up buying the Pultec Passive EQ Collection. There's some very cool tricks the old dogs did with these so, READ THE MANUAL! Look around on the web....you'll find em'. Like the cut/boost trick. It works. Thanks UA. Isn't this just amazing?! - GILROY
