Ok I found the compressor of my life!!! This is staying on all my Drums, Base,Guitars, Virtual Instruments and specially Voice.
Now I only need a UAD with 16 sharks to use it in all those channels!

This is an amazing plugin! It is silky, musical, smooth, and beautiful. I couldn't imagine a master without it. It is rare that when I make a purchase that my first thought is "I can't believe I have ever worked without this." Manley Massive Passive did just that.

DBX 160 - You will not regret it!

I was a big fan of the legacy pultec. I upgraded the 1176 and LA2A collections a long time ago, but waited on the pultecs because the legacy was just so good. I finally updated the pultecs during UA's must excellent holiday sale and have been loving this version. It does everything the legacys did but smoother and quieter. I recommend upgrading the pultec, but get the 1176 and LA2A collections first (or get the bundle and save a few bucks)

This plugin will really help add that analog tape feel to digital tracks. I have a couple tape machines in the studio, but this thing saves me a ton of time and money and gives me 99% of the real sound of tape. I prefer the Ampex tape plugin but I'm not sure why, I still give this thing 5 stars as nothing else outside of UA compares.

Incredible set of compressors.
I love these on vocals, kick and overheads. I go between an 1176 and LA2A on bass though. These are the cream of the crop as far as 1176 emulations go. I love them and they work on every mix. The Legacy is nice but these really open things up.

I really liked the legacy LA2A plugin, and I wasnt sure how to improve on it. Well I was wrong, These three plugins are incredible on vocals, bass and SNARE. Seriously, I see lots of love for the 1176 on drums, but damn the LA2 is amazing on snare drum. buy these plugins and dont look back.

Love this plugin too much. I'd put it in my top 5 as far as quality of sound and amount I use it. It goes on almost every master (along with my trusty UA shadow hills comp plug) and it also finds work on guitars, drums and keys. in the digital world it really warms things up. WIth the right settings you can get chorusy and slapback delay type effects with this plugin as well. It can be pristine warmth, or total distorted filth, depending on what you're after.

A Fantastic And Quick Alternative EQ
I was looking for the Eq that would pull out the Midrange in a bass track a place it in the forefront. This worked for what I needed it to do. It also works for giving a lift in the high end for vocals and overheads. I went to the presets and tweaked it to fit my mix. Nice.

I made a great choice in buying this
I have been using the SSL channel strip for a while and it does the job but not like this channel strip does. I wanted a warm sound for a british Rock/Pop sound, and I tell you, this is The channel strip for me now. I can dial exactly what I want. the sounds is just so beautiful and warm. So warm and cuddly, it feels like being under a cotton blanket on a really cold night. It has everything I need in one plugin, way more than the SSL has. The gain is fabulous, the low and high filters are magical, the compressor is simple and amazing, the noise gate is perfect and the expander is so musical, the equalizer is amazing with the pre and post switch. All hail API Vision and UAD for a great product.

OMG turn the bias all the way down and play with the in-gain, amazing degenerating and degrading effects. love the way the sounds break in form nothing ness.
Erm as a tape effect though, sometimes its invisible and sometimes its noticeable.

There is a God
This reverb is a game changer. I own the emt140 and 250 which are killer verbs but the lexicon's reverb trail is heavenly. The kk atmosphere preset proves that there is a god. You can control the decay time of the reverb tail's treble, midrange and bass frequencies independently which is awesome!
