Okay I am so old thet i actually learned the trade by using 24 track machines. Of course I had to leave them behind like so many others. The price of keeping them running, l and the price of tape, and the lack of editing possibilities, and, and ,and.
But i have never stopped longing for the sound and the tapesaturation you could achieve when gaining tracks different on the tape. But this plugin does a pretty good job giving me that back! I love it!

The flawor off tube!
I use this plugin a lot. It gives that feeling of tubes even when not dialing in any eq. But when dialing in the eq is warm and nice. Try it out and get amazed!

This plugin lives on my master bus and drum bus. It instantly adds vibe, glue and depth. There are a lot of great presets to help get started too which is great as there are never ending options in this plugin. Worth every penny!

Pure Plate equals great trail
I appreciated the natural sound of this verb in my bus. Pure Plate Reverb adds instant dimension that's uncluttered when used properly, I'd venture to say it probably works even if not, when overdone for effect. Thanks for taking that extra step that is a good companion to the EMT 140.

Great Tape Imitation.
Its great to have BOTH my UA Tapedecks to run Mix and Tape types with . Saves Thousands $$ in Tape to Run these Decks that sound so Real ,I fooled last Client .When I Told him What I did HE went out and bought an Apollo and Plug-ins To run his own test on ..Again Great Job by UA !!

Great Tape Machines !!
I Am able to use plug-ins to TEST Tape Mixes and types . And Then use my Real Tape Drives ,SAVES A lot of $$$ . Great Job as usual UA !!

Galaxy tape echo review
I love this plugin, user friendly control panel and the sound quality is great!
Makes me feel like Im twisting analogue knobs which is a nice change deep in the plugin world.

Amazing versatility
This plugin can offer tape vibe in spades, or just a hair of analogue feel depending on how its set up and driven. Takes a little bit of learning to get the most out of it, but its a lot of fun.

Got this for free
I use this for fun occasionally but with the studer and ATR available I often forget about this one. Nothing wrong with the sound and the simplified interface can be nice, but I'd recommend other saturation choices first.
Also, unless I've missed something, I'd love to see the input and output linked.

Amazing high frequency boost!
The hi frequency boost is one of the smoothest out there! I love the low shelf on kicks and occasionally bass but its pretty wide and heavy handed for use on my mix bus. I really love boosting the high frequencies which sounds pretty unique to anything else.

Sounds glorious
The way this EQ works is so different to any other that you'll often arrive at interesting results just by the way the bands work. The low end curves are so useful for when I find the pultec just to wide and thick. The Manley can be tuned in to fit with your work.
The High shelves are smooth and pleasing to listen to.

A lot of plugins will offer 201 style delay behaviours, but the beauty of the unit is in the features that are available to you. A must have classic effect!

In a world of so many 1176 emulations....
these just come out on top for me. Its actually nice to have all kinds of different behaviours available, but few feel as fast and aggressive as these (which is usually what I'm looking for in an 1176 to begin with). Probably my most used compressor on a unison insert too as a fantastic way of controlling dynamics when recording.

660 is a beast!
The 660 has pretty much lived on a drum parallel for me since I bought this plugin collection - its fast and aggressive and can groove so well with drums. The 670 can be a slightly smoother option for some tracks, with the added benefit of various side chain and unlinking options.
These essentially shine on whatever you throw at them, I'd hate to imagine mixing without them.

Amazing channelstrip.
First off, for the EQ section I have to say I much prefer the 550A plugin - its slightly more vintage sounding and feels like it has more weight compared to the channelstrip.
Where the channelstrip shines is on a unison input - having an API style preamp, filters, EQ, gate and compressor is fantastic. The compressor is simple yet versatile, the gate is aggressive and musical. The EQ offers many frequency bands and 4 filters and sounds solid, although if you're only fussed about the EQ section then I'd recommend the 500 series based plugins first.
