Unbelievable!
This is thee best reverb plug-in I have ever heard on vocals. It breathes with the singer in and around a track. It can hold the vocalist on a cloud of velvet riding just on top of the mix. The second I heard it I got the chills with the hair on my arms standing straight up. Tears filled my eyes it sounded to so good, it sounded so real. And to think I was worried that it would sound old school pre demo. It is simply amazing.
UAD has given us a gift. A digital recreation of the most incredible sounding reverb chambers in the world. Each and everyone of us can now own a piece of history and use it to enhance our music and mixes. All with a click or two of the mouse. Unbelievable!
A brilliant work of art and technology. Great job to all that had a part of making this plugin. Salute.

Applied to 70s type rock guitar, dirty and clean, sounded great as subtle addition to track. Definitely use it again .

Quite possibly one of the best plug ins I have owned. A friend recommended this as I was looking for something to sweeten up some of my loop tracks. I could not have been happier. I am also using it to track guitars with OX and they sound so alive now. Incredible.

It's true. One of the best attributes of UAD's plug-ins is which units they choose to emulate. Capitol Chambers was a institution unto itself and UAD was so clever as to choose it. And they, of course, nailed it.

If you're searching for a good plate, CPU friendly and very simple to use, this is the one I would recommend.

Great for tracking
The API channel strip is quite useful for live tracking drums and cabinets. The gate works remarkably well and would make an excellent stand alone plug--in. The controls and signal flow has some of the same 'quirks' of the real hardware, but gives you very good musical results.

Lush, beautiful spacial heaven
These echo chambers are second to none, and the plug-in recreates their unique sound beautifully. Unlike other types of reverb, these chambers can impart a sense of space without over powering the source. You sense the sound more than hear it.

From "great" to "wow!"
The API 2500 is my new favorite drum buss compressor. I had a drummer in who I have worked with for years. He always likes the drum sounds we get but after inserting the API 2500 on the drum buss, he was visibly happy. From "great" to "wow!" I'll take that any day.
Now if you could only make a Great River unison preamp...

Simple and Effective!
This compressor is just like so many have said - it brings vocals right to the forefront of your monitors. Controls are simple and easy to use. I own several compressor plugins, but the LA-3A is now my go-to for vocals. I, too, would appreciate a bigger user interface, but it's not a deal breaker, because the plug just works!

It's a sound I've never felt as a reverb plug-in. It's deep, wide, detailed, beautiful and wonderful. It can really control great sounds very simply. I understand why they proudly lunched this product. It's really amazing. You can feel orgasm with your ears. This is true. Yeah, it's real.
