You have everything needed to understand the fundamental of synthesis. Both LED amp & filter envelope help you understand the goal of an envelope. You don't need to dive & get lost in sub menus. All is there ready to use. Last but not least, the sound of the analog-modeled oscillators are a faithful recreation of an era that you should all start with when you want to start in sound synthesis.

You don’t know mixing
I just placed this on 3 instruments in my track. Wow. Anyone who says this sounds bad simply doesn’t know how to mix. The plugin is a solid 10 out of 5 stars. I’ve never put it on a track an decided not to go with it. Once it’s opened it goes on everything.

A fine gentleman in the voiceover industry recommends this plugin like his life depends on it. Boy-- it does not disappoint. The most impressive technical feat that UA did here faithfully emulating the fact that the compressor works BEFORE the preamps. It's like sorcery you can only achieve in the digital domain. The EQs are also sonic candy. They mean it, that adding extreme amounts of EQ still keeps your voice nice and colorful. I know some might think that you're only paying for lines of code, but that completely ignores the sweat and sleepless nights they must've spent coding this, to sound just like true analogue gear. The results speak for themselves. I swear by this plugin.

I’ve used Sound City Studios plug on guitars, drums, vocals , and more. Gives the perfect controlled spatial texture of a recording studio… perfectly controlled bleed… totally manipulable!! With a great choice of classic microphones!! Love this plug!!
