Good tool on your mixing chain
Very Happy with it. It give body to many Channels. In my case bass and voice mostly and also calm the sibilantes of the voice. One step on the re-conquest of analog warmness in the numérique coldness environement. Very useful.

UAD Massive Passive
The Massive Passive UAD plugin is one of the best ever made. It sounds very close to the hardware. Worth the money just for ease of use. Use it with the UAD API 2500 on the master bus for a quick mix or master that stands out.

Einfach genial
nicht nur Vocal klingen fett, ob Drums , Synths oder Bässe klingen wie sie klingen sollten. Gerade Bässe kann man schön tief und sanft aber nicht nervig erzeugen. Benutze den grundsätzlich für Hip Hop oder Drake Type Beats. Der Avalon kommt fast auf jedem Channel Strip in einsatz.

I use this plug here a lot. I find myself reaching for this on Vocals & the Mix Bus.. more presence, more warmth. I can definitely tell a difference in records with it & records without it. Good investment here.

My favorite preamp
I had this actual unit years ago and I loved it then. I switched units trying to find a better sound but it was a big mistake. I was excited to see UA adding this plugin to their collection. It sounds as good as the actual unit.

Perfection and more
I work with the hardware version of the Avalon VT-737 and this is basically identical, if not better. I definitely use the x4 feature, it is an amazing addition! I recommend this plugin 100%, it makes my Yamaha MOTIF XF8 sound like perfection, I’m not satisfied with the stock piano sounds of the keyboard itself but when I tweak it with this, it becomes perfection.

Best Reverb, IMHO
Couldn't believe how rich and lush this reverb is the first time I heard it. I can't imagine how I did without it--I use it on almost everything I do to get that old-school vibe.

Silky smooth
I was looking to tame high end of an acoustic guitar to get it to be warm but not dull. I have many EQ’s to choose from but this is the only one that accomplished exactly what I was looking for. A musical EQ for sure. Thanks guys!
