Avalon 737 ... great product at the right price
I have been working with my voice for a long time and Avalon VT 737 gives thickness and depth that enhance the products I make. A well-spent price for an excellent result. Highly recommended.

never messed with the physical rack before
im used to always configuring the graphic eq in logic to set my vocals right in the mix
but this plugin automatically brings your vocals to the forefront with a brilliant clear clarity
( input mode / high grain ) is the secret sauce

Just like the real thing (but better)
My VT 737 sp (with "Babyface mod") is the default channel strip I record everything through, so I was very interested to see how this plugin sounded. It's just freaky. Identical. I know what every knob and switch is supposed to do / sound like. Except now I have more than one of them and can make tweaks after tracking, if needed. highly recommended.

Perfect Vocal Compression
This is absolutely perfect for getting vocals to stand up front in the vocals without sounding too squashed. On sale, the price is just unbelievable for the quality!

Best vocal processor plugin
The Manley Voxbox is actually an All-In-One vocal processing tool...Its smooth preamp sound, the very "natural" working compressor and the often useful De-Esser makes it my first choice for vocal recording...I also love it to define my bass and some synth tracks. There is no day in studio, where i don't use it.

scratched faceplate?
I got this plug in set on sale and it works just great. One thing, though, is when I pull up the interface on the "Grey" the paint is scratched on the faceplate. Is that why it was on sale? Is this like a "B-stock" plugin or a demo unit? It looks tacky as I keep all my other plugins pristine with zero scratches. I tried touching up the paint but now my computer has grey spots on the screen.
Sounds awesome for vocals, though.

LA-3A in your arsenal!
Sometimes overlooked wrt LA-2A, the LA-3A has properties that you are for sure looking for. Only downside: UI too small.
