My favourite compressor in an easy to use plugin that i would use on anything. if someone asked me if i could only use 1 analog one or 5 of the plugin, it would be the plug in everyday

Sounds just like my hardware
I own a few of the hardware La2a versions and was skeptical how the digital versions would treat the low end and what the color would be like under heavy compression. Much to my delight, an incredible amount of time and detail went in to the digital versions, as they treat the signal the exact same way as my hardware versions!

Every time I listen back to something I recorded, I am blown away by the sonic quality. It’s incredible. How good things sound without adding any plug-ins. Once I throw in a couple of plug-ins, it really does bring everything together and I’m only scratching the surface at this point . This bundle is an awesome addition to my plug and collection. Simple controls easy to use and get fantastic results. I love my Apollo crazy about plug-ins and I want more! Thanks Universal Audio!!!

very authentic sound
I have three different version of the LA2A compressor from various creators. The Universal is the one that recreates the sound of the LA-2A perfectly. The others are close, but the UAD nail sit to a T and is now my Go To compressor whenever I need or want an LA2A. So many uses for the collection, and the variations in tonality and function are right on the money.

Authentication Keep Failings
This would be a much better plugin if I could actually use it. I've tried multiple trouble shooting techniques and the plugins always say "Plug-in not licensed"

Six stars for sound, two stars for the rest
Waterfall sounds fantastic, but the UI is very minimalistic. The reverse color keys on the far left of the registers cannot be programed to save your own presets, there is no midi automation even for drawbars, so it has to be run in Gig Performer or Cantabile to play live (and the one time hassles of setting up all the automation). But it does sound fantastic. I also own the officially endorsed by Hammond product and find the Waterfall sound to be very complimentary in nature. Would not want to give up either one of them. Six stars for sound quality, two stars for depth of UI control.
It also requires either iLok dongle or an internet connection to use it. For some reason UAD does not provide iLok computer activation like every other plugin maker on the entire planet using iLok protection. Its a major concern for a lot of people commenting in forums. And to make matters worse, UA Connect launches every time you use it unless you uninstall UA Connect, which you can only do if you have a dongle...

Best compressors ever made.
What can i say, amazing compressors at an amazing price. Been using them on everything. Especially loving the all buttons in function for that classic 1176 sound.
I can’t say enough about how good they sound.

Worth the hype.
I've tested a few UA plugins lately and honestly they didn't all "blow my mind" compared to their alternatives but this one is a keeper. It adds a little polish and some stereo perspective that instantly gives a better feel to your vocals. The compression itself works well but the character is where it really shines. No other compressor plugin does that in my pretty extensive library... Totally worth it!

Good, but details missing
Definitiv great, but the higher you play, the more harsh the sound is. Most plugins have that. also, when u go low, there is too much bass free. I played many Hammonds in my life and had Leslies too. I know what I m talking about. This is good, don't get me wrong but the last final touch on all details is not done....

Really Useful Compressors
I am a guitar player and these compressors really do the job. Should be great for bass & vocals as well
