GREAT JOB UAD!!
I've been using the Slate VTM for years now. VTM gave my mixes depth and a nice dose of glue. While VTM worked and does its job I still felt my mixes lacked the warmth. I've Oxide was the answer!!! It's quick and easy and doesn't tax the DSP. I feel like I've found the flavor my mixes was lacking!!!

"LA-2A Save My Day"
I have recently strayed away from using the Silver and Grey Faces and what a mistake that was. Coming back reminded me of how easy it is to dial it in and just move on. I had spent an hour trying to dial-in a Bass... So, I went to the LA-2A... I was done. It was punchy, even and bright. WOW. DONE! Lesson.....Use your LA-2As. Get em' if you don't have em. REALLY!!! LA-2A are a must, must have. - GILROY

The BEST UAD Plugin - Hands down!
If you had to buy just one UAD Plugin, i would highly recommend the LA-2A. What this does to the sound is magical! UAD have truly captured a magic vibe and this works like a treat in bass, vocals and synth lines, making them bigger and fatter like you never heard before. It has a simple yet effective gain/peak reduction simple interface, which is so easy to use. It has ''that'' sound. You can't go wrong with the LA -2A!

A must have from UA
The 1176 is a classic piece of gear for a reason. I find that the legacy 1176 to be excellent, but this Mk II really take the emulation to the next level. Don't demo this if you don't want to buy it. Consider yourself warned!

wasn't sure if the upgrade is worth it...
but now I can tell the upgrade was worth every penny. The Rev A is now my go to compressor! I love the way this one sounds, no comparison to the legacy edition.

Classic for a reason. Excellent for keys, anything that can use subtle movement. Never in the way, often the "thing" that adds the "something".

Classic, Elegant and Fun
This plugin has already become indispensable. It has been a long time since I have had a Pultec style EQ in my arsenal. This one is amazing. By far the best plugin emulation I have heard.

Good UA Tape sim
This is an excellent tape sim and very affordable. It doesn't touch the Ampex or Studer in capabilities but offers a lot for little. This is a good place to start if you want some tape sound but don't have a ton of money for the brand name machines. I still throw it on tracks even though I own the others. A great deal!
