I am an Organist/Guitarist and I actually own a real Leslie. But of course you need a good sounding Room and several Microphones to capture it's magic, so I was looking for an alternative that is easier to set up, and most importantly, that can be played quietly with Headphones.
The moment I tried the Demo I was completely immersed. The mechanical Noise is spot on and I actually turned around to hear if my actual Leslie wasn't spinning in it's corner. A big plus for me is that it doesn't have a complicated Interface. Many Plugins of that sort let you change the position/angle and whatever of the microphones, as well as 1000s of parameters and I always end up tweaking myself to death. With this one, there are several distinctive presets to choose from, and that's it. Enough variety for different situations, but it's not overdone. And just like the real deal, it sounds good with EVERYTHING. Grand Piano, Rhodes, Mellotron, Guitar, Bass, you name it.
My only criticism is the price. I find the regular price a bit steep to be honest. But as there are several sales over the year, one can grab it at a discounted price anyway.
I strongly recommend it- especially for Hardware Guys who don't want to tweak endlessly.

El Teletronix LA-2A es mi segundo en serie en la cadena de vocales (El primero es el 1176). Utilizo el modo "Silver" porque me brinda una calidez increíble y combinado con el 1176 me permite controlar los picos mientras suavizo la dinámica general.
Tanto el 1176 como este LA-2A, los utilizo de como plugins nativos. Estoy ansioso de que saquen pronto los EQs API en versión nativa, porque de momento debo usar los de otra compañía.

Tested against a handful of PULTEC emu's and UAD out shines them all!

This bundle is a great deal, but the UAD itself will lose relative value.
I feel that our suggestions for user support continue to be completely ignored.
I have already purchased 70% of the products in this bundle individually.
With that said, I respectfully write to you with my thoughts on this product.
I have no problem with products being sold at a discount to new users and beginners.
However,
I am very uncomfortable with the “practice of selling products at thin margins in a way that lowers their value.”
And please understand that the value of UA itself continues to decline.
Those of us who have supported UAD plug-ins as an asset up to now, and have been users since the beginning, have one wish.
To keep improving the UAD plug-ins as much as the hardware.”
What we are looking for from UA is “the quality of the UAD plug-in itself.
If we stop doing that, UA products will never be as valuable as they have been in the past.
Many users who do not need UAD will choose other low-cost audio interfaces of comparable quality.
In the current situation where UAD plug-ins are not of high quality, Apollo's value will continue to decline.
How many specialist users have given up on UAD since the first UADx release?
If we are going to sell such an inexpensive plug-in bundle product, we need to also release a high-quality, up-to-date rebuild plug-in every time.
We should let someone who understands the value of UADs rebuild our marketing strategy.
Anyway, I recommend this bundle because it is a frustratingly good value.

Pure plate reverb was just not was I was hoping for from Universal Audio. I had to tweak forever to get a realistic sound.

Pleasing tonality..very nice on the ears
I am a long time UAD customer and fan...they have done dreamwork for home studio enthusiasts like myself. But it is wonderful they keep coming up with excellent and exciting stuff.. I just heard this electric piano after i bought this upgrade yesterday. It is absolutely fabulous and i instantly fell in love with the sound quality and tone of this plugin. MAGIC to my ears and kudos to the creative people at UA!

A great bundle of instruments and studio plugins of high quality
All plugins are excellent and of high quality. The highlights (for my opinion):
- One of the best Minimoog emulations on the market.
- The great Waterfall B3 organ.
- The wonderful Electra 88 Vintage Keyboard Studio.
It comes with a complete set of studio effects, stompboxes and amps.
- The Waterfall Rotary Speaker effect .
It's used together with the Waterfall organ and the Electra 88 instrument.
It also can be used as standalone effect for other intsruments. Very useful.
- The Galaxy Tape Echo, also very useful and sounding great.
All plugins are finely adjustable and never sound obtrusive. Tested with several DAWs (Bitwig Studio, Waveform 13, Ardour 8). I couldn't find any problems.
