M y secret weapon Oxide Tape Recorder
My secret weapon Oxide Tape Recorder
I heard / saw this plugin at Fab in combination with a mix he was working on live...And thought I must have it...Sorry I bought a UAD-2 Satellite Octo for this tape plugin ;-)

Wonderful EQ
Hard to make anything sound bad with this EQ. Owned other Pultec plugins prior to purchasing this one and I am not disappointed one bit. This one replaces them all. Thank you UA!

Simple but very effective
If you know how to use a tape, it will serve you well.
Controls straight to the point and very simple to use. Whether it's the first in the chain or the last, it sounds very beautiful!

A Leslie for the Ages!
A truly great Leslie simulator. I just used it on a shaker for a track and the rotary was perfectly timed to the tempo and gave the breakdown a really cool swirly vibe that everyone was freaking out to just how cool it was. Thanks to UA for making me sound better than I am!

Right Up There With the Capital Chambers!
A phenomenally musical reverb with great flexibility and control. It is so cool to nail down the Motown sound on your own recordings. It is awesome to A/B it with the Capital Chambers and hear the differences in vibe to your track. I've been in love with the Capital Chambers since I got it but now I have a new tool in the arsenal with the Hitsville Chambers. UA just keeps hitting Homers!

Different flavours, all rather good
I've never had the pleasure to work with a real LA-2A, so my only experience is with plugins and I've been an avid user of other developers LA-2As for many years and have a small collection of them, so although a friend had waxed lyrical about these UAD versions, I was sure I had all I needed and I was very happy with what I had. So why did I bother to take these for a test run? I obviously needed to find out for myself that these variations are well worth using within my work and add a wee sprinkle of magic which is a slightly different kind of magic from the others I already own. Such a simple compressor to use, yet such wonderful results as long as you don't push too hard. Despite now being poorer financially, I'm happy to say these variations are finding their way into my work on a regular basis along with my other favourite compressor the U73. My only bugbear with the LA-2A and U73 is the release times may not suit the track rhythmically, so adding an ability to change the release times would be wonderful, although I'm aware that this would be taking it away from its origins, but we've moved on from horse and carts, so..? Regards these particular LA-2A, I'm not a fan of the gain being turned up as default (I'm not a fan of any plugin having its gain set higher than unity as a default) and, unless I've missed something, being unable to type in figures for the controls, or even see any figures, is disappointing. Yes, I want to use my ears while adjusting, but if I want to make very small adjustments it is a lot easier to adjust by inputting numbers.

The best soundcard I have ever had.
I have bought the Universal Audio Volt 276 soundcard and holy moly... Am I so satisfied and happy about it. The functionality, quality of processing and all the benefits that come with it in the form of plugins, software and other stuff its mind-blowing. The only thing I am not used to though is the on / off switch. I have had a Focusrite 2i2 (3rd Gen) before and this soundcard automatically switched on & off with my computer. However, I have a much better and rich recording experience with the Volt 276. I am recording my guitar and I find the 76 compressor and Vintage mode an outstanding feature. All in all, I love it.

Incredible
Gives your mixes that nice 60s touch and flavor. Incredible sounding.

Great unison preamp!
Clean sound with reasonable DSP usage on the solo, the native version is great if not used as a preamp and has been really fun to use during production.

Love this plugin
Well, I have a lot I could say but I’m gonna keep it short. This is a great sounding plug-in and gives you a lot of what you need without the worry and maintenance of an older machine. I have a true analog & digital hybrid studio but after listening and testing this delay I feel like it’s so good and convenient that I don’t think I can justify buying the real thing.

No magic here!
If you think you instant will get a vintage sound or some natural warmth with this your fooled. You can reach the same results with stock plugins. This is not a must even if you're in to the vintage sound. The nice interface might inspire though.

Not a good enough 60's vibe
Really nothing special here that you can't create with other chamber plugins, it sounds a bit too much digital and that's not what you want from something that's trying to simulate a 60's sound.

Super warmer Sound
Dieses Plugin ist richtig gut. Es macht den Mix oder die Spur wärmer und analoger. Ein must have tool.

Best 1176 Collection
great that you get so many 1176 plugins and each has its own charm of compression and analog saturation. Great in combination with LA2A. Brings the signal forward in the mix

Super Collection
these compressors work great and push the signal forward in the mix. Great if you want to bring something forward and of course great compression. for me the best LA2A plugins. Also great that there are three pieces, perfect for almost every use. Great for vocals with an 1176

I Love Plate Reverbs
it is fun to work with this plugin. You can quickly and easily get good results that also sound excellent and also sound three-dimensional
