Nothing Compares
I've finally found my holy grail reverb, this emulation goes above and beyond what the hardware can do! Honestly never thought i'd say a plug-in could out match the real thing but UA really delivered on this one! So happy to be able to use this native and with as many instances as I want, truly the best reverb I have in my arsenal!

My favorite vocal compressors
I primarily record and produce hip hop artists, so am reviewing from that perspective. From tracking to mixing, the LA-2A collection is by far one of the best you can find. Tame the peaks, level the takes, add the sauce, these comps won’t let you down and you’ll find yourself reaching for them time and time again.

Sounds great with keys but equally good on vocals, guitars, and even percussion tracks. Really fun and creative tool.

My favourite reverb algorithm is the plate, that’s why I am really picky about it. This one is sounds great, simple to use and currently in my top 3 plate plugins.

I like this with drums
I like this with drums. You can add missing frequencies / transients to your source. However, it didn't do it for me on horns or strings. Could be a source sound problem.

The Truth in tape satuation

"Great Experience with the Oxide Tape Recorder"
I really like my new Oxide Tape Recorder from Universal Audio. It's easy to use and adds a warm, rich sound to my music. The controls are simple, and it lets me change settings for different sound effects.
It does a great job making music sound like it was recorded on classic tape machines. I especially love the warm color and strong bass it gives my tracks. It also lets me choose different tape speeds for more sound options.
Using it with an Apollo interface for recording is easy and improves my work. In short, the Oxide Tape Recorder is a great tool for making high-quality music with a vintage touch.

Wonderful in every sense of the word.
I'm so glad I got a copy of this great product.. I really got what I was missing.. but sometimes I struggle when using the plugin with Logic Pro. Because sometimes a message appears saying: DAW RESTART REQUIRED in the plugin.

Nice sounding rotary speaker
I use also versions from Arturia and Eventide for the rotary effect. I’ve got to say that the Waterfall Rotary Speaker brings something different, slightly more vintage, especially in the midrange.
It’s a colorful effect so I use it on specific sources.
