Highly tunable
I already have lots of reverbs but I thought I'd give the Lexicon a go and am so glad I did. No wonder this was so popular - the great thing about it is that the sliders give you so much control over the reverb content so you can 'tune' in the reverb to suit the mix.
Quite often with other reverbs you will get a beautiful sounding reverb but it may have too much bass or mid content and muddy the mix - with the Lexicon, you can tune this to satisfy. The button controls take a bit of getting used to but the responsiveness of the sliders make up for that.
I now use the Lex along with the EMT 140 as my every day go-to reverbs. All my convolution reverbs get reserved for the odd special effect here and there.
Love it.

Smooth without the Hassle of Tubes
UAD has done it again - I assume that MK. III of this plug-in collection will simply be them shipping the hardware straight to your door.

Mind Blowing
It feels so great to have access to a channel strip that is so amazing, with out having to pay thousands of dollars for it. Not sure how the hardware version sounded, but this is on point.

WOW!!!
I don't have any previous knowledge as to how this plugin is suppose to work, but I know it sounds absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend it.

Your search ends here.
After years of using various 1176 emulated plug-ins I will hands-down choose UAD over them all. They truly sound like the original hardware. Add these to your toolkit and you will find yourself using them in every mix as I do.

Fantastic
I didn't know if there would be much of a difference between these UA plugs and the other similar plug-ins out there, and i was a skeptic at first. But these are the real deal, they sound fantastic on just about anything, and are worth every penny. I've used them on literally every song i've worked on since I've bought them. Highly recommended!

another great
while I nearly always have the LA2 compressing my mic'd synth pads, the brushed LA2A is my goto on so many other things..

Excelente

MIND BLOWN!
I used these compressors in my audio school, the hardware. These UAD version are amazing. It feels awesome to have access to them via the apollo twin!!!

Teletronix LA-2A
Pretty happy with the Teletronix LA 2 Blue Face. I record guitars using the POD and throw one over the Insert. I've been dialing in the JJ-Blues Guitar preset and adjust the gain and it is instantly present.

Like the real thing.
Sounds great! I used the real thing when I was making records for Arista in the ealry 2000s. The plug in sounds just like it. Great job.

API Channel wonderfully musical
I own APIs have 550s 560s 512s. This plugin though to my ears not an exact model works even better than a he hardware on some sources.

Great but not 5star
If you don't have a quad or octo do not get these or any UAD plugs. These eat up 8% of the dsp for the Twin Duo every instance of the plug.
Also UAD has yet to release high resolution images for the plugs for anyone running a 4-5k monitor. They look super blury.
They sound great though if you have the power to run more than a couple of them. Way more like gear than the waves version.

Speechless
They nailed it. Awesome Analog goodness!!! This is how plugins should sound. Silky smooth filters. Brings out the fundamentals very nicely.

A bit to Subtle for me
I use the studer on my bus'es. It's very subtle, and I think it only ads a little colour to my mixes. But overall, my mixes sounds better than before. More a fan of the Ampex ATR.

If you can only have one top-shelf reverb....
This is probably the one to own. Extraordinarily nuanced. The interface is appropriately complex and you'll need to learn it to get the most from this plug, but the results can be breathtaking. Wow!

Glad I purchased this
Like the Ampex, it's best when used in the proper context, rather than a carte blanche application. Moderately applied, I like what it does for tracks that can benefit from a bit of warmth, although I don't use it as much as I imagined I would. Still, it's a great sounding plugin and a useful addition to ones sonic palette.
