Buon giorno uso questo tipo di compressione per voci e strumenti acustici e trovo l'intervento morbido e discreto. Purtroppo non ho mai avuto il piacere di usare fisicamente queste attrezzature perciò non ho un riferimento sonoro. Sicuramente la versione software UA non altera il suon ma lo migliora. Consiglio il trittico teltronix LA. Ho acquistato recentemente anche il pedale MAX dualcompressor che uso in insert analogico sulla voce con grandi risultati sonori. Ottimi prodotti. Grazie

Why does it need an internet connection to work?!
I purchased this one to use as my go-to vocal compressor on various projects. I didn't knew that it requires internet connection, so i can't use it when i'm outside or on a plane. It's a shame that there's no option to transfer the license to my laptop directly. An AU unit also launches too long, because it connects to the internet every time.
And that would only be half the problem. After all, my Ableton Live won't even launch a project with these plugins unless I'm connected to the internet. So my go-to compressor paralyzes my whole projects, and if my internet connection is interrupted, the plugin stops and displays the message "DAW restart required", even if the connection is restored. It's a shame.
I don't rate it as 1 star, because they sound great, actually. But for me, as for traveling producer, it's impossible to use it all the time.

Learn how to use that for 2 weeks, and it's a killer for my drums! you can shape your drum set so quickly and sounds great. love 560L, quicker than 550L, but 550L also powerful!

Very realistic- It sounds sweet with everything
I am an Organist/Guitarist and I actually own a real Leslie. But of course you need a good sounding Room and several Microphones to capture it's magic, so I was looking for an alternative that is easier to set up, and most importantly, that can be played quietly with Headphones.
The moment I tried the Demo I was completely immersed. The mechanical Noise is spot on and I actually turned around to hear if my actual Leslie wasn't spinning in it's corner. A big plus for me is that it doesn't have a complicated Interface. Many Plugins of that sort let you change the position/angle and whatever of the microphones, as well as 1000s of parameters and I always end up tweaking myself to death. With this one, there are several distinctive presets to choose from, and that's it. Enough variety for different situations, but it's not overdone. And just like the real deal, it sounds good with EVERYTHING. Grand Piano, Rhodes, Mellotron, Guitar, Bass, you name it.
My only criticism is the price. I find the regular price a bit steep to be honest. But as there are several sales over the year, one can grab it at a discounted price anyway.
I strongly recommend it- especially for Hardware Guys who don't want to tweak endlessly.
