Smokes the 1073
As a horn player, I love what the preamp alone does to remove harshness. My go-to before hand was the V76, which is a little brighter by comparison (and also fantastic). I also tried it on electric bass and holy crap it's awesome. It just has an incredible sound! I could not get into the 1073 (I don't like how the preamp on the 1073 sounds at all), but the 1084 is now my #1 unison preamp! (Tip: experiment flipping the phase...it sounds slightly different).

Love My Neve Pre
This Pre is my go to for vocals , bass, guitar, drum kits and the list goes on! its fat warm and full of character! I find myself printing audio from my VST's though the Neve, it has become one of my secret weapons!

Phenomenal
I had been using the CLA SSL strip from Waves for a while now and really liked that plugin. When I recently upgraded to the Apollo+Satellite system I bought the Neve 88RS plugin after demoing both the 88RS and SSL strip. The Neve 88RS plugin is lights out phenomenal.

Another rip off
Offering two missing plugins 2254 and 1084 for 449$ what a joke? I bought all precedent plugin of your releases, I'm done with this, I deeply regret investing so much money in your system, now my money is going to plugin alliance and other company who are doing faire pricing. I compared many of the Uaudio plugin I own with other companies and I'm really disappointed at this point. By having such bad commercial actions your brand is just taking the same direction pro tools and waves did, and we know how bad they are now.

About Dang Time Guys! ...BTW, they're great!
Man, I've been waiting and waiting and waaaaiiiiiting for the 33609 to get a refresh so it's actually usable on a digital mix buss, with the necessary controls to adjust the headroom properly. I couldn't do an A-B with the old one on the sonics, but I can say this edition sounds fantastic, and FEELS way more like the hardware. The SE misses a bit of clarity and ferry dust in the tone, but does OK considering the lighter CPU hit, (the full version isn't too bad either) or could be good if I want to reach for a more subtle, less assertive tone.
The 2254 is just a bonus, and is different and great in its own right. I have some other models of this, but the UA version is of course top shelf for the sound. Thicker, chunkier vibe than the 33609. Great for more density / heft, and probably better on tracks & instrument busses, (drums!) while the 33609 I'm sure will be my new love on the mix buss for a while.

First impressions last...
I just purchased this and used the 2254/E on some "Stylus" Deep House drum loops. No doubt, it is bringing the drums to life like no other plug in. It is making them bounce like even my hardware compressor can't. No crunching or loss of bottom end for deep bass mixes. "Thick" is the right word. This is the best software plugin I have ever used, by far. I will write a better review of the whole package. Just wanted to let you know how impressed I am, love at first sound. Thanks so much for the saving too as I already owned the 33609; very considerate. The 2254/E deserves an award to be honest. It is breakthrough software emulation. Complete success! Dual version and single! One very happy customer, thanks!

Incredible!
I've been looking for a preamp for vocals for a while. Tries several of the unisom preamps and had settled on the 1073 until this came out. Demoed it one day and bought ot the next. The sizzle it adds on the top of tracks as well as enough flexibility to fatten up tracks is amazing. I've tracked vocals amd saxophone using a dynamic mic and it's the best my tracks have ever sounded. Get this one! Just buy it! Great job UA!!!

If I had to choose one EQ that has saved my life in mixing the most, It would be 1073. Then maybe a Harrison. It's like it knows what I want quickly. No fuss. Zero. It's like It knows what other EQs were trying to do and compliments them too. 1073 will make you feel warm and fuzzy. Then the Pre amp. The color of the pre amp alone, to die for.
