Plug and Play
I'm a rookie so this really makes it easy to plug in and get great tone down on the DAW without much fiddling around.

What is needed!..
this plugin is excellent "colors" sound! I like to apply it on the master bus already at the stage of mixing to avoid surprises after.
I like its saturation at the top of the range. Of course everyone finds its application to any of the universal Audio plug-ins and I'm sure that this plug-in should be in your gentleman's setup.

Stunning warmth and density!
I am able to get so much extra fullness and density with these tape machines! They sound much better than the brand X one I've been using for many years. I am so happy I added these to my collection!

Does what others don’t
I’ve had the usual suspects in the tape world and I like them all for different reasons I use oxide on individual channels a lot. But in the mastering phase or on stereo channels this has a certain magic to it. It can tighten up the bass in musical way and either add presence or smooth out the high end depending on the settings. For mastering, I find that hitting this followed by a great eq, compressor and limiter gives about everything I need while being able to get the volume where it needs to be much easier. I believe the tightened low bass response and the slight tape compression is a big factor to this. I’m still exploring this very versatile plugin, but so far so good.

I demonstrated this machine to a client. Instant success. Now I’m a bit spoiled, because I have a lot of tape emulation plugins. But this one is definitely a favorite!

i had to record a lot with tape and nothing beats the sonic bliss of a piece of music laid down on a saturating tape..Warmth, fullness , transparency with an edge...this ampex atr 102 ......plugin is the nearest i went to the real deal...it doesnt just add color or eq the signal...in fact its acting A LOT the way tape acts...try it, like i did and i promise you wont finish the 15 days before getting it !! :)

That's the perfect couple!
I've bought some tape emulations before, software and hardware but I must say that the Studer A800 and the Ampex atr102 are now the perfect couple for my busses and master track. For the first time I hear a plugin goin' so close to the real deal. I grow up working with Studer machines so I'm used to that sound. Both plug s have so many possible tweaking it's insane!

Amazing! Transients are nicely rounded off, excellent tweaking possibilities. Less gritty than Studer/Oxid. Love it!

I was going overboard with these tape saturation plugins when I first purchased them.but in no time my recordings mixes were sounding better after getting used to how to apply the plugin.

I cut my teeth on a real SSL 4000e
I recall the first time I heard the Ampex 102 reel 2 reel, it was mind blowing, UA has knocked this out of the park, your mixes will never be the same again.
This bundle make you want to cut records!

Great when paired with Tonelux summing!
I use on most every track when mixing and run the outs to my Tonelux summing mixing and UKB Fatso. A highly recommended combination.
