I tried many years ago, liked it but never bought it. I tested it again few days ago and i realised that i liked it even more, so it was an instant buy.

Oxide = Phat!!
I have lot's of tape plugs including the Studer and Ampex. This thing has it's own sound it adds fatness and glue. When on a mix you take it off and it's looses power & magic. It's a beauty!!

I just didn't give it 5 stars because it's impossible to use it in another DAW. But the sound is incredible, what it does in the low end I couldn't find in any other plugin… It's worth it and I can't live without it in my mixes anymore

Quality piece of kit
Love it loads! Use it in rap vocals and pre recorded loops. Difference is crystal. I’m sure they do a bus compressor. I’ll keep my eye out.

in sound and performance and it does the trick to get that extra analog sound I'm looking for!

simple and straight forward
gives a nice metallic taste that many plate emulations lack. very simple controls with all you need to dial in the sound you are looking for. thanks again to UA for going native with individual perpetual licenses.

The PULTEC Harmonics is good. You can't get this effect simply from a EQ like fabfilter.
