Perfection
Admitting that I was never lucky enough to own the hardware versions, the new updated Fairchild emulations are amazingly useable and just plain sound great.
I do own the legacy version and the updated 660 and 670 have been improved greatly.
Makes almost everything sound better...

Great Compression
Just like the real thing. I haven't had the opportunity to A/B the real thing against these emulations in one sitting, however, these plugins sonically please my ears just as much as the 1176 Rev A and E do. I'm a big fan of these plugins and use them in so many of my mixes. If you own the 1176 from the Analog Classics Legacy bundle and are thinking that you are set as far as 1176 style compression goes, you need to pick up this bundle. I'm not much of an advocate of plugins over using hardware, but how many of us can really afford to go out and drop several grand on a few 1176s that might have the sound we're looking for. An affordable alternative that go far above and beyond the 1176 that comes in your AC bundle. Give it a try.

Nailed It!
We rented a 670 from a shop a few years ago… needless to say we fell in love. Sadly, we had to return it.
This new Fairchild collection has managed to finally get that ridiculously special 670 sound. Even better… we don't have to take it back.

Perfect for multi-takes or comping
When doing multiple takes audio tends to sound slightly different from each other, especially with vocalists.
The worst is when they take a sip of that water, instant brightness.
The LA-2 with its super slow release fixes all this.

Great set of plug-ins!
These three emulations are fantastic! They do everything that you ask them to do. And the artist presets are great starting points that encourage tweaking and digging into these compressors to find new sounds. Absolutely solid. Totally worth the purchase!

Excellent sound quality
Like most people, I've never had the good fortune to use a real Fairchild, but I've certainly auditioned my fair share of plug-in emulations of this iconic compressor/limiter. The new collection has that special something that just sets it above every other emulation/model I've worked with and there's no way I can ever go back!

New Fairchild great for adding the " Special " Sauce
Adds the special stuff even if you don't touch the knobs.
The new control layout really speeds up the adjustment possibilities
