I like it better than the original
I have an early 80s AD/DA flanger that I've always loved, but I like the tone of the plugin even better. It's a little smoother than the original.

Tone, and bite
I've tried a view different flangers and they all added to many resonance peaks, made the sound to bright, created problems in the mix and just a nightmare. This one is quite nice the old version has a nice range in the low end and the newer side is more bright. You get a chance to choose and make the best choice. Saturation option... great. White noise great. I love the colour this specifically gives a sound.

It flanges!
Sounds great on guitars, and can be used in the Unison slot, which is good for putting in front of non-Unison amp sims.

Smooth and colourful
Looking at various types, I found some flangers adding too much harsh frequencies, some brightened up the sound and made a track/instrument ugly in a mix and made it unfit to use. Then I tried this one, and it brought character and a smooth effect. If you want a sound coloured it works beautifully.

Silk and smooth if used subtly
One of the best ways to get a chorus type sound. Most of chorusing gets laid on too thick, but this is a fantastic choice for subtle chorusing depth.

Missed this sound
I am a straight to the amp guitar player but was not always like this , flanger was my first pedal ever. Happy reunion, realistic sound that brings good memories
