Universal Audio Announces All-New Downloadable LUNA Sessions
— Explore exclusive sessions from top artists and Grammy-winners, free in LUNA —
SCOTTS VALLEY, CA • May 27, 2020 — Universal Audio, a leading manufacturer of professional audio recording hardware and software, is proud to announce all-new LUNA Sessions, an exciting new learning campaign that allows users to download free audio sessions from world-class artists, producers, and engineers.
LUNA Sessions give users an inside look at Grammy-winning mix approaches.
After downloading the free session files in the LUNA app, users can see first-hand how a professional mix is constructed — from soloing individual instruments or MIDI tracks to seeing Unison technology, bus routing, and plug-in chains in action, LUNA Sessions give users detailed mix insight to adopt into their own workflow.
“Our goal with LUNA was to inspire musicians, and make it easy to capture creativity when it hits. We’re thrilled to deliver on this promise alongside world-class artists like Cass McCombs and Jacquire King, and to give musicians and producers an inside look at professional recording sessions.”
— Bill Putnam (CEO, Universal Audio)
New LUNA Sessions will be published periodically to UA’s blog, and advertised through email channels and the LUNA explore tab — an in-app hub where users can access all LUNA-related content. The debut LUNA session featuring Cass McCombs’ “The Wine of Lebanon,” produced by Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Kings of Leon, Cold War Kids), is available now for free download.
